The ATMs for Good™ program is starting to catch on in Central New York. As more and more ATMs for Good™ terminals get placed in the community (see exactly where here), the chatter about what they are and how they work is beginning to take hold.

The story focuses on Maureen's Hope, a Baldwinsville Based non-profit and the B'Ville Diner and Basta on the River, both of whom have installed ATMs for Good terminals benefitting Maureen's Hope.

Many people balk at the idea of paying a hefty surcharge at the ATM. But what if a portion of that surcharge went to a good cause? That’s the idea behind ATMs for Good, a project of Syracuse ATM. Kathryn Bolster, who owns Syracuse ATM, said she thought of the program as a way to bring more meaning to her work...More
